Store Service and Office Assistant

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Store / Service Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the store assisting customers, preparing quotes, allocating jobs, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer calls, and handle service enquiries and bookings.

• Prepare and follow up on quotes for tyres, servicing, and repairs.

• Manage invoicing, payments, and daily job scheduling.

• Allocate work to technicians and assist in managing workflow efficiency.

• Order parts and tyres from suppliers and maintain stock levels.

• Forward plan jobs to ensure required parts and materials are ready.

• Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.

• Maintain a clean, professional, and organised store and reception area.

• Support the team with general workshop or store duties when required.

About You

• Excellent multitasking and time management skills.

• Strong communication and customer engagement abilities.

• Demonstrates leadership, initiative, and teamwork.

• Able to work efficiently under pressure.

• Experience in quoting, scheduling, or customer service (automotive or retail preferred).

• Confident using computer and point-of-sale systems.

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work on a roster basis.

• Current driver’s licence required.

Work Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

• Must be willing to work on a roster basis within these hours and assist with store opening and closing activities.
