We are seeking both Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technicians or Heavy Vehicle Apprentices continuing their journey, to join our busy Shepparton Dealership Team. As part of the team at Hartwigs Shepparton, successful applicants will repair & maintain premium North American and European products. See our dealership website for more information about our business (www.hartwigs.com.au).

 

General Responsibilities:

Examining vehicles and reporting on the nature and extent of damage or malfunction;
Plan work procedures with workshop supervisors;
Carry out servicing and repairs as per manufacturer and safety guidelines on under-chassis’, engines, drivelines, fuel systems and potentially A/C & electrical systems;
Form part of the after hours roster for breakdown callouts, earning additional over-time $$.
Successful applicants must have:

Related experience/training or a relevant combination of education and industry experience.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret common technical information
Strong communication and attention to detail
Desirable Licences (Not Mandatory):

HR, HC or MC
Vic and/or NSW Roadworthy Inspectors licence
Air con licence
Auto-electrical trade certificate
