About the role:
Advanced Auto Service & Repair, a leading automotive service and repair business in Maffra, is seeking a talented and driven Motor Mechanic to join our team. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and reliable transportation.
Some of what you’ll be doing:
- Diagnose, service and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models;
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations;
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs;
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used;
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair recommendations clearly.
What we’re looking for:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent;
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic/Automotive Technician, preferably in an independent workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues;
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work;
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members;
- A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transportation;
- A current Victorian Roadworthy Testers (LVT) License (preferred, but not essential).
