Job Description:

This job will located in an automotive parts storage environment and will include duties such as identifying automotive parts/components, carrying out storage and stock control procedures, materials handling, sales activities and computer data input and retrieval. These activities will be carried out whilst maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

Requirements:

To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment of all 4 compulsory core competency standards, all of the listed stream competency standards, plus 3 elective standards from the automotive 'bank' or any endorsed Industry Training Package at the same AQF Level.

Duration:

This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
