Job Description:

This job will combine the retail aspects of a shop within the service station and the driveway activities. Duties will include stock control and merchandising involving preparation of stock for display, labeling and pricing, carrying out console operations, completing cash or credit transactions, customer service and driveway service including fuel dispensing.

Requirements:

To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment of all 4 compulsory core competency standards, all of the listed stream competency standards, plus 3 elective standards from the automotive 'bank' or any endorsed Industry Training Package at the same AQF Level.

Duration:

This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
