Job Description:

The duties will include receipt, sampling, inspecting, testing, storage, packaging and dispatch of automotive products, calculating and shifting loads whilst ensuring safe handling and proper equipment maintenance. In keeping with the supervisory aspects, this job will also include building of customer relations, organising work operations, co-ordinating logistics, loading and storage of dangerous goods and maintaining security.

  • other endorsed National Training Package units

Requirements:

Pathway 1: With no previous qualification at Certificate II level, a minimum of 30 units must be achieved including all 7 compulsory core units, plus 13 stream units from those cited in the Warehousing and Distribution Stream Inventory, 6 of which are not lower than Certificate III level, plus 10 elective units, 4 of which are at Certificate III level or above, which may be sourced from the above list or as outlined above.

Pathway 2: With a previous qualification at Certificate II level, a minimum of 10 units must be achieved including 6 stream units from those listed in the Warehousing and Distribution Stream Inventory at Certificate III level, plus 4 elective units which are at Certificate III level or above, which may be sourced from the above list or as outlined above.

Duration:

This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 4 years, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
