Job Description:
This job will involve a variety of tasks appropriate to the particular workplace. The duties will include receipt, storage, packaging and dispatch of automotive products, manual handling, calculating and shifting loads whilst ensuring safe handling and proper equipment maintenance. The job would also involve sampling, inspecting and testing of products and organising invoicing and freight processes.

Requirements:
To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment in a total of 20 units, including all 7 compulsory core competency standards, 7 of the listed stream competency standards, plus 6 elective standards at the Certificate II level or above, which may be sourced from the above list or any endorsed Industry Training Package.
Duration:
This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
