Job Description:

In a vehicle sales environment, this job will involve carrying out transactions of cash, credit or funds transfer and applying the relevant legal requirements in relation to the completion of finance, leasing and insurance contracts/policies. You will also be required to communicate with all parties involved in a purchase, maintain records and carry out input of computer data.

Requirements:

To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment of all 4 compulsory core competency standards, all of the listed stream competency standards, plus 3 elective standards from the automotive 'bank' or any endorsed Industry Training Package at the same AQF Level.

Duration:

This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
