Job Description:
Working in an automotive business, this job will involve being a contact point for incoming phone calls and reception of visitors to the business. These activities will involve communication and liaison with all staff and customers, knowledge and promotion of the products and services of the business and the clarification and resolution of day to day problems. Other duties are likely to include routine clerical tasks, computer work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:
To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment of all 4 compulsory core competency standards, all of the listed stream competency standards, plus 3 elective standards from the automotive 'bank' or any endorsed Industry Training Package at the same AQF Level.
Duration:
This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
