Job Description:

Working in an automotive business, this job will involve reading, writing and numerical tasks, operating a range of office equipment, problem resolution, communication and liaison with customers and staff, maintaining records, inputting and compiling computer data. You may work as part of a team or independently and will also be required to understand and promote the products and services of the business.

Requirements:

To be awarded the qualification, the New Apprentice must attain a successful assessment of all 4 compulsory core competency standards, all of the listed stream competency standards, plus 3 elective standards from the automotive 'bank' or any endorsed Industry Training Package at the same AQF Level.

Duration:

This competency based program is likely to extend over a period of up to 12 months, depending on the achievement of the required competencies (this period may vary between States/Territories).
